The lockers at Math Middle School were numbered with consecutive multiples of 3 starting at 57. Students are randomly selected a locker. If there are 376 lockers in the school, what is the chance that Aidan (a student) will be assigned a locker more than 375?

I got 131/188.

How I solved it:

57+3n=375
375-57=318

318/3=106.

When n is 0, itis 57 (locker 1)

When n= 106, it is the 375 (locker 107)
375-107=262. So, 131/188.
Is this right?

. 375-107=262. So, 131/188.

       there are  376  lockers

AND   375-107   not =262         Close !   Just clean it up !

@ElectricPavlov, When n=106 is the 375th locker, it is the 375. So, 375. My new answer is 67/94. I think that's right.
