Simple logaritmic problem witch im having trouble with

If it is Log(1/1,000), why are you having problems with it? Just take the Log of 1/1,000=Log(.001)= -3.

1/1000 =  .001 =  10^-3     LOG (10^-3) =  - 3

$\frac{log1}{1000}$

= 0

$log(\frac{1}{1000})$

= -3
