If I do not wake up early enough, I will miss the bus.If I miss the bus, I will be late to the ferry terminal and miss the morning ferry. If I miss the morning ferry, I will have to wait for the afternoon ferry.

Assuming all of these statements are true, then which of the following statement must also be true?

(A) If I made it the morning ferry on time, I must have waken up early enough.

(B) If I woke up early enough, certainly I will make it to the morning ferry.

(C) If I took the afternoon ferry, then I must have missed the bus.

(D) If I did not miss the bus, then I will definitely take the morning ferry.

(E)If I took the afternoon ferry, then I must have waken up late.

 Acceptable answers — A, B, C, D, or E

You have to look carefully at the logic.

If you are late up, you will miss the bus   That is stated.

If you are not late up, will you catch the bus?  Maybe, maybe not, there is no logically statement about what will happen if you get up early.

Now use that logic to work out which statement must be true.  There is only one.  wink
