Not sure if this will work, but I found the GCF of 380 and 200 and divided 380 and 200 by the GCF.

The GCF is 20,

so its really just 19 cards and 10 persons.

Then I found the number of cards facing upward, and multiplied that by 20.]

Probably a really bogus solution.

Ignore the statement "the club is choosing a committee of 44 members"

We already have "24 male and 20 female members"

Since we have 24 male members in the club, we only need to worry about female members.

So how many ways can we choose 20 out of 24?
 

24!/(4!)(20!) = 10626

Looking at this, Im not sure if we can use trigonometry.

We know that one of the blue triangles has a 60 degree angle with two sides in a ratio of 2:3.

Well since the yellow is equilateral inside another equilateral, we can confirm that logically all three blue triangles are congruent.

The orange triangle and the red triangle are similar.

Using one of the properties of similar triangles, we know that the ratio of the side length of the orange triangle to the side length of the red triangle is 2:3

Because: (2/3)^2 = 4/9 = 20/45 

Now we found the ratio and that the blue triangles are congruent, we know that the side length of the orange triangle to the side length of the blue triangle is 2: (2 + 3) = 2:5

That means the AREA must be (according to one of the similarity properties) 4:25

So we calculate the area of the blue triangle and find its 125. ( we also can find it using the red triangle.)

Help! Im stuck too! I got the blue triangle as 125, can someone work off from here?

This is what I did:

I noticed that segment AO and OD are radii, and since radii are all congruent, center O must also be the midpoint of AD.

I calculated OD because it was a radii.

Then I multiplied the value of OD by 2 to get AD. We know know the height of triangle ABC.

Since ABC Is equilateral, that means angles C and B are 60 degrees.

We find that triangles ACD and ABD are 30-60-90 triangles.

Since we know the height of triangle ABC and we know that triangles ACD and ABD are 30-60-90, can you find the area?

Hint: try using the properties of a 30-60-90 triangle.

A nunber is divisible by 99 if it is divisible by 9 and 11.

Divisibility rule for 9 is if all the numbers sum up to a multiple of 9, then the number is divisible by 9.

Any number made of digits 1 through 9 is divisilble by 9.

so basically the question is now:

Find the smallest number using digits 1-9 that is divisible by 11.

We start with 123456789. Because its the smallest.

Using the picture above, we get

1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 = 25

2 + 4 + 6 + 8 = 20

25 - 20 = 5. Which is not divisible by 11.

So how can we manipulate the red and blue numbers to create a result that is divisble by 11?

Welp, guess and check...
