Yes, a rational number can be expressed as  a/b   where a  and b are integers (and b does not = 0)

7.9 = 79/10

1 /(a+b) = 4                 and        1/ (a+c)  = 5        and      1/(b+c) = 6

4a+4b=1                                         5a+5c=1                        6b + 6c =1

a = 1/4-b                                    a = 1/5-c                  c = 1/6-b

        1/4-b  = 1/5 -c

         1/4-b  = 1/5 - 1/6+b

         1/4 -1/5+1/6 = 2b

             b = 13/120                  then   a =  17/120        and   c = 7/120

1/ ( 17/120 + 13/120 + 7/120) = x

x = 3.24 hours
