g(a-6)      put in   'a-6'   for 'x' in the g function

[6-(a-6)] / [6+(a-6)] = (12-a)/a   

For the last one  sub in   x^2-6     for   'x' in the  g function and see what you find.....

Couple of things ya just have to remember

An inscribed angle in a circle intercepts an arc TWICE its size in degrees

   the first inscribed angle is 88 degrees     the arc is therefore 88 x 2 =176 degrees

The second one is similar except you are given the ARC.....what would be the angle if the arc is twice the angle?

Most of your recent questions have been    of the form    5.28 x 10^-3     (scientific notation questions)....so YES, the negative exponent would move the decimal point ot the LEFT      5.28 x 10^-3    WOULD equal  .00528       TRUE

Hmmmmm....    does  2^-3    = .002?

The question doesn't say from WHAT you are converting to STANDARD notation.....if you are converting from SCIENTIFIC NOTATION the statement would be TRUE.....but it does not say that, so that is why I said it was false.

C'mon MS....what is left after you use the '3' and the '10'  ?

1  the MEAN is the average.....   add all of the 24 weight values and then divide by 24

2 List the weights in ascending order, since this is an even number of weights, the MEDIAN is the average of the MIDDLE TWO numbers on the list

3The MODE is the weight that appears most often     (I think it is 308 in this list)

4 range is the LOWEST - HIGHEST
