It is BETWEEN  -1 and -2           NOT between   0 and -1 .......

Put the 'x' values in to find the 'y' values.... then plot the x,y pairs to draw the line

I'll do the first two

y = 2x +1

    x = -3    

        y  = 2(-3) +1

           y = -5                first ordered pair is (-3,-5)

x=-2

y =2(-2)+1 = -3            next point is  (-2,-3)

Continue with the rest....then plot the points to draw your line.....

Looks to me that 'm' is between   -1   and  -2    ....which answer fits that?

How many did you count?     15 ?      13 ?      What do you think?

collinear means they are on the same line  ......

    I think you can figure out which sets of points are on the same line.....L F E   are....   any more?

   how many ways can you choose 2 girls ?   4 C 2 = 6 ways

       then you ned to choose 5 more people for the committee from the remaining 10 people     10 C 5 = 252 ways

6  x  252 = 1512 ways to form committee

    point slope form equation of the line would be

pick one of the points   (x1 y1)

  (y-y1)  = m (x-x1)

(y-5) = 3 (x-(-6))

(y-5) = 3(x+6)

You could use the other point instead

(y-(-1)) = 3 (x-(-8)

(y+1)    = 3 (x+8)           If you graph both of these, you will se they are the same line....

= 3^1/2  a^3/2 b^9/2           or       a b⁴ 3^1/2 a^1/2 b^1/2       or   a b⁴ (3ab)^1/2     depending on what format you are looking for.....
