From the diagram, we know that Minor Arc NP equals Minor Arc NM. We set up the equations (5x+33)= (9x-43) to find the length of each. We get x= 19 and each arc equals 128 degrees. The whole circumference of the circle is 360 degrees so the length of the remaining arc MP is 360 - 256 = 104 degrees.

Substituting 2 and -4 for m and n respectively,

-3(2)(-4)+4(2)-3= 29.

From the diagram, we know that AC is 2, and AD is sqrt3. We can also find DC which is (2^2) - (sqrt3^2)= 1. Since DC is 1, BD is also 1. We also know that BXD and ACD are similar. The corresponding sides BD and AD have the ratio's 1:sqrt 3 respectively. So if CD is 1, then it's corresponding side XD will be 1/sqrt 3 which simplifies to \(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{3}\) which is your answer.
