In multiplication, you don't add the factors. You see how many times you add a certain number. -3*-1=3 

When 1 is involved, the answer is whatever number you multiply by 1. So now we will do 3*-1. 3*-1=-3

-3 is the final answer.

Distributive Property: 6x+4=6x-10

Subtract 6x from both sides.

4 does not equal -10, so the problem is literally impossible to answer. x has no solution.

First of all, let's get y on one side and x on the other.

So, start by adding 2y to both sides. Now you have 3x=2y+6.

Now, subtract 6 from both sides. You now have 3x-6=2y.

Then, divide by 2 on both sides. You now have 1.5x-3=y

The slope in y=mx+b is the number in spot m.  The number in spot m is 1.5, so the slope is 1.5 . 

Close, but the work is a small but wrong. -3*-1=3. But the second part (3*-1=-3) and the answer(-3) are correct.
