When it rains, every student in Margo's school brings a raincoat, an umbrella, or both.  And of the students bring both.  The total number of umbrellas brought is equal to twice the number of raincoats.

What percent of the students bring an umbrella only?  Explain your solution in complete sentences.

you can find the answer by introducing a variable to help find the percent you are trying to find (people who oonly bring an umbrella)
also draw a venn diagram and see if it helps.

I also believe that there was already a post like this several years ago...

make sure that you dont mix up the students that bring both...

(if you would like to check your answer, I got 64%)
