If the rectangular faces of a brick have their diagonals in the ratio 3 : 2 \sqrt{3} : \sqrt{15}, what is the ratio of the length of the shortest edge of the brick to that of its longest edge?

Let a, b, c be the edges.

{ab=3bc=23ca=15

 

(1) * (3) / (2) : 

a2=31523=352a=352

 

Similarly, 

b=655 and c=25

 

Required ratio = b : c = 3:5
