Could Someone help walk me through this problem? I am having trouble with the wording. 

 

 

Find the constant K so that log_{y^5}(x^3) = k * log_y(x)

 

The bottom dashes, _ , mean log to the base of...

From the change-of-base formula, k = 5/3.

Therefore k = 3/5.
