The message signal x(t)=sin(100t) modulates the carrier signal c(t)=Acos(2πfct). Using amplitude modulation, find the frequency content of the modulated signal.

Hint: The modulated signal is cantered at the frequency fc.

Hint: Conduct research on sidebands in AM.

This is a question I have in Wireless Networks

There are two sideband frequencies; one at fc+fm (fm is message frequency) and one at fc-fm, in addition to the carrier frequency, fc, itself.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amplitude_modulation for more details.
