is it possible to solve for all sides and angles for a right triangle starting with ONLY the length of the hypotenuse, and one of the three angles is 90 degrees? Nothing else is known about the triangle.

No, it isn't possible in general.  The diagram below shows two right-angled triangles, both of which have a hypotenuse of length √2.  it is clear that they have different other sides and angles.

alright in this problem we start with the hypothenuse with that in hand you have to find the adjacent side now

well you cant do the problem with just the hypothenuse but you need it to find the rest of the sides then you should be able to do the problem.
