You get the answer only if you know a lot about maths......

(WITHOUT any use of calculators.)

What is an approximation of tan(ϕ1/2) where ϕ is the golden ratio and the tangent function is in radians?

unit is wrong but

tan(1ϕ)1!!

Not 1 radian because 1/sqrt(phi) is an angle. So tangent of an angle is just a number.
