what is the sin of .41998

I think you might be asking to find the angle whose sine = .41998

If so, we can us the sine inverse to find this...so we have

sin-1 (.41998) = about 24.83°   ( note that this also might be a second quadrant angle, since the sine is also positive in that quadrant.....!!!)

However, you also might be asking about the sine of an angle with a radian measure of .41998...if so, we have...

sin(.41998) = 0.407742191199

inverse cos is the same as arc cos so just enter it on the calculator as 

acos(0.41998)
