What's the area formula for a 40cm basketball?

thanks Einstein but it is not a circle it is a sphere so I think Surface area is probably wanted. :)

SA = 4pi*r^2

The area of a circle of radius r is: $$\pi r^2$$

The volume of a sphere of radius r is: $$\frac{4\pi r^3}{3}$$

So the area of the ball is 5026.5482457436691815 cm²

And the volume is 268082.5731063290230155 cm³
