Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

What events, you have only mentioned one, taking 1 card from a pack. You need to have two or more events to talk about exclusivity.

No I won't give you an answer but I will tell you that the first thing you need to do is add 5g to both sides.

If you simplify or solve an inequality you still get an inequality for an answer.

2d+11-5d-4 = 2d+11+(-5d)+(-4)
I wouldn't bother with the brackets. Just remember that he minus sign belongs to the number behind it.
2d+11-5d-4 = 2d-5d + 11-4 = -3d +7 or 7-3d

5.001 and 5.02
The biggest place value is on the left They both start with 5. so they are both 5 and a bit.
The first digit after the point is 0 on both so that's no help
the second digit is 0 on the first and 2 on the second.
2 is bigger than 0 so 5.02 is the biggest.
The last 0 on the first one is of no relevance at all.

What kind of calculator are you using.
-8^(1/3) works fine on my calculator.
What is sqrt(-8,3) looks like the input for some computer language,it is not standard maths notation.

The question doesn't make sense
Maybe you mean (170)/(13.7) km2 = 170/13.7 = 12.4 km2 to 1 decimal place ( just use the divide button)

I don't know what level you are studying at but this is the answer.
I have made some assumptions like the interest is paid at the end of each month.
