$48 - how much discount = total

$48 x 0.75 (100%-25%) = total.
Either way, you should get the same answer...
you can find the answer by introducing a variable to help find the percent you are trying to find (people who oonly bring an umbrella) also draw a venn diagram and see if it helps.
I also believe that there was already a post like this several years ago...
make sure that you dont mix up the students that bring both...
