I bet you mis-spelled y-intercept.
For y-intercept:
1) Turn it into the form of y = ax + b, your questions are already in that form so no need to change anything.
2) Look for the constant term, which is b in y = ax + b, that is the y-intercept.
For the first question, y = x + 4, the constant term is 4, so the y-intercept is 4.
For the second question, y = -2x - 2, the constant term is -2, so the y-intercept is -2.
Think about it: Why the y-intercept is the constant term?
